Job Function: Medical Affairs Group Job Sub Function: Medical Affairs – MD Job Category: People Leader All Job Posting Locations: Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan Job Description: Position Summary To maximize the medical and scientific value in Heart Recovery, this role leads scientific exchange with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and drives the generation of medical insights across Japan and Korea. In addition, this position serves as a bridge between internal and external stakeholders, contributing to evidence-based decision-making and strategic planning. Proposal for Key Responsibilities: 1. Insights, Strategy & Cross-functional Impact  Collaborate and execute with Marketing, Sales, and other cross-functional teams under alignments with Japan/Korea leadership team  Monitor and share emerging scientific and medical trends in cardiovascular space  Share field, scientific and medical insights to Japan/Korea leadership team and contribute to strategic decision- making  Facilitate knowledge sharing across APAC  Identify unmet clinical needs and generate actionable insights 2. Medical Education & Internal Capability Building  Respond to medical and scientific inquiries from internal and external stakeholders  Support and execute healthcare professional education programs under the direction of Physician Program and ProfEd team  Support and provide medical/scientific training to internal stakeholders 3. External Scientific Engagement  Build and maintain strong relationships with academic and community KOLs in Japan and Korea  Lead advanced level scientific discussions  Support congresses, symposiums, and external scientific engagement 4.
