Job Description An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Oncology Sales Representative (North Portugal) to join our customer-facing organization. This role is responsible for covering the assigned territory in the North of Portugal, developing trusted customer relationships, driving account growth and delivering personalized, compliant customer experiences across face-to-face and digital channels. The person must live in Greater Porto. Beyond scientific promotion and customer engagement, the Oncology Sales Representative is expected to act as a strategic business partner within priority accounts, identifying opportunities to improve patient outcomes, accelerate access and create sustainable value across the healthcare ecosystem. The Oncology Sales Representative acts as a strategic account partner and customer engagement leader, combining scientific knowledge, customer insights, data analytics, approved content and cross-functional capabilities to create value for healthcare professionals, institutions and patients. Working closely with Franchise Leadership, Brand & Customer Managers, Medical Affairs, Market Access and other cross-functional partners, this individual will help shape and execute the Integrated Brand and Customer Plan within priority accounts, accelerating patient access, optimizing treatment pathways and supporting sustainable business performance. What you will do Bring energy, knowledge, innovation and leadership to carry out the following: Own the assigned territory and priority accounts with a strong business mindset, translating brand strategy into clear objectives, focused actions and measurable outcomes. Develop a deep understanding of account structures, patient flows, treatment pathways, decision-making processes, stakeholder networks, competitor activities and healthcare ecosystem dynamics. Identify unmet needs, business opportunities, competitive threats and barriers across the patient journey, transforming insights into meaningful account actions and value-added solutions. Proactively identify opportunities to improve patient access, optimize treatment pathways and create value for healthcare stakeholders across the oncology ecosystem. Build and maintain strong expertise in assigned tumor areas, products, indications, clinical evidence, treatment landscapes and emerging data. Deliver personalized customer engagement through both face-to-face and digital interactions, creating meaningful customer experiences through approved content and omnichannel engagement strategies. Leverage customer insights, data analytics, CRM tools, dashboards and AI-enabled solutions to prioritize actions, uncover opportunities and improve execution effectiveness. Act as an orchestrator of cross-functional resources, connecting the right capabilities at the right time to address customer, institutional and patient needs. Collaborate closely with Sales Leadership, Brand & Customer Managers, Medical Affairs, Market Access and other functions to shape and execute integrated account plans. Drive territory growth by identifying opportunities that improve customer value, patient impact and business performance. Embrace continuous learning, agility and innovation, contributing to the evolution of customer engagement models and future ways of working. What skills you will need In order to excel in this role, you will more than likely have: University degree, preferably in Life Sciences, Health Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, Nursing, Biomedical Sciences, Business or another relevant discipline. Relevant commercial, healthcare or customer-facing experience. Ability to understand, interpret and communicate complex scientific and clinical information. Strong customer engagement, relationship-building and communication skills. Ability to manage complex accounts and navigate diverse stakeholder environments. Strong business acumen and ability to translate customer insights into measurable account outcomes. Analytical thinking and the ability to use data to support prioritization, decision-making and opportunity identification. Digital fluency and confidence using CRM platforms, Power BI dashboards, digital engagement tools and AI-enabled solutions. Ability to use approved AI tools responsibly and critically to enhance customer preparation, insight generation and execution effectiveness. Growth mindset, learning agility and adaptability in an evolving healthcare environment. Ability to challenge the status quo, identify opportunities and drive change within accounts and across the healthcare ecosystem. Strong collaboration skills and ability to effectively work across multiple functions and stakeholders. High standards of integrity, ethics and compliance.
