Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/innovative-medicine We are searching for the best talent for Facilities & Utilities Co-op to be in Gurabo, PR. The Co-op term is from January to December, 2027. Full time requirement (40 hours per week). Purpose: Johnson & Johnson is seeking a motivated and analytical Facilities Co-op to join our Facilities and Utilities team in Gurabo. This internship offers hands-on experience supporting facility operations, utilities systems, technical projects, continuous improvement initiatives, and compliance activities within a regulated manufacturing environment. The selected candidate will work alongside experienced engineers and technical professionals, gaining exposure to project execution, data analysis, problem-solving methodologies, and operational excellence practices that support business continuity and site operations. You will be responsible: Support the execution of technical projects under the guidance of Facilities Engineering and Facilities Management. Analyze utilities and operational data to identify trends, summarize findings, and support technical reports. Participate in troubleshooting activities and help investigate equipment, utility, or process deviations. Assist in root cause analysis and development of corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges and implement solutions. Identify opportunities for process improvements and support implementation of continuous improvement initiatives. Contribute to the development and revision of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), forms, and technical documentation. Ensure accurate documentation of work performed in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements. Follow all Safety, Environmental, Quality, Compliance, Security, and Human Resources policies and procedures. Qualifications / Requirements: Completion of Undergraduate Freshman year at an accredited University is required. Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering-Electrical Engineering Chemical Engineering Industrial Engineering Facilities Engineering Other related engineering disciplines, or related fields. Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, which is reflective of all college coursework. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Permanently authorized to work in the U.S., must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually requires future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship.
