Based out of our offices in Baar, we are recruiting for an Intern, Commercial (12 months fixed-term contract) Summary: As an Intern within the Commercial team of the Swiss Affiliate/CHAT Cluster, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our commercial initiatives. This position involves assisting with the preparation of promotional materials, internal presentations, and sales reports, which are essential for driving our marketing efforts. You will contribute to both launch and post-launch activities, including event planning and coordination of digital communication initiatives. By working closely with the Head Commercial and Product Managers, you will support affiliate commercial projects across various disease areas. Your efforts will directly enhance our business's ability to engage customers and optimize patient pathways, which is crucial to our mission. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop your skills, and contribute to impactful projects within the commercial team. What You’ll Do: Assist in preparing promotional materials, internal presentations, and sales reports. Support launch and post-launch activities, including event planning. Coordinate and execute digital/omnichannel communication initiatives. Collaborate on affiliate commercial projects across disease areas. Support the execution of the omnichannel customer engagement plan. Assist in designing and implementing initiatives for disease education and patient pathway optimization. Organize cross-functional projects such as external congresses. Assess needs and define customer channel reports with business partners. Support development of launch readiness activities and key account planning. Check and revise documents and ads based on campaign performance analyses. Coordinate internal material review processes for timely and compliant delivery. Disseminate scientific and commercial information to healthcare professionals or the public. Prepare internal presentations and updates. Conduct desk research on various topics, such as market size and environment. Who You Are: You are someone who thrives in dynamic environments and brings a proactive "can-do" attitude to every task. Your exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize workloads enable you to meet tight timelines effectively. You possess strong interpersonal skills and can interpret complex data clearly and concisely. Your attention to detail is unmatched, ensuring consistency in all tasks. With native-level German proficiency and advanced English skills, you communicate seamlessly. Your enthusiasm for marketing and project management, coupled with your eagerness to learn, make you an ideal fit for this role. Required Skills: Completed Bachelor’s degree in a Business or Life-Science related discipline (e.g., working student obtaining a master’s degree or recently completed master’s degree). Experience in project management and / or previous experience in marketing within the pharmaceutical industry is an asset. Proactive attitude with the ability to work according to tight timelines and prioritize workload. Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills. Ability to interpret and summarize complex data in a clear and logical manner. Exceptional attention to detail and consistency. Native-level written and spoken German; advanced written and spoken English. French and Italian language skills are a plus. Job Level: Internship Why Biogen?
