Job Summary DevOps & Platform Architect – Staff Engineer Overview We are seeking an experienced DevOps & Platform Architect to lead the strategy, architecture, and modernization of DevOps, Platform Engineering, and AI capabilities across the organization. This role will serve as a key architect for next-generation engineering platforms, driving the vision and adoption of self-service engineering, deployment automation, environment management, developer experience, and AI-enabled engineering solutions. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong architecture leadership and a passion for transforming engineering productivity, operational resilience, and software delivery at scale. As the DevOps & Platform Architect, you will partner with engineering, operations, and business leaders to establish strategic platform capabilities, accelerate modernization initiatives, and shape the Operations AI roadmap. Why We Need This Role • Establish dedicated architectural ownership for DevOps, Platform Engineering, and AI initiatives. • Accelerate the development of strategic capabilities, including self-service engineering, environment management, deployment automation, developer experience, and AI-enabled engineering solutions. • Provide long-term technology vision and architectural leadership for platform modernization across Operations. Responsibilities • Define and drive the architecture and modernization strategy for DevOps, Platform Engineering, and AI Enablement across Operations, establishing scalable standards, platforms, and practices that improve software delivery, reliability, and engineering productivity. • Architect and lead next-generation platform capabilities, including self-service engineering platforms, environment management, deployment orchestration, parameter management, developer experience platforms, and automation frameworks that accelerate engineering teams and reduce operational overhead. • Shape and execute the Operations AI roadmap by identifying, evaluating, and scaling AI-powered solutions that improve developer productivity, automate operational workflows, enhance decision-making, and drive measurable business outcomes. • Establish reusable platform patterns, governance models, engineering standards, and automation capabilities that promote consistency, scalability, security, compliance, and operational excellence across the enterprise. • Partner with engineering, product, operations, and leadership teams to align DevOps, Platform Engineering, and AI investments with organizational priorities and long-term modernization goals. • Evaluate emerging technologies, platform engineering practices, and AI innovations to continuously evolve the organization's engineering capabilities and technology strategy. • Drive adoption of modern engineering practices, including Platform Engineering, DevSecOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Observability, Automation, AI-assisted development, and Self-Service Engineering. • Provide architectural leadership and technical guidance across multiple teams, influencing technical direction and ensuring alignment to enterprise standards and best practices. Minimum Requirements • 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, Software Engineering, or Architecture roles. • Proven experience designing and architecting large-scale cloud-native platforms and enterprise engineering solutions. • Deep expertise in DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, Cloud Architecture, Automation, and Software Delivery practices. • Extensive experience with AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Artifactory, and modern engineering toolchains. • Experience defining enterprise architecture standards, technical roadmaps, and modernization strategies. • Strong understanding of Platform Engineering concepts, including self-service platforms, Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs), golden paths, and developer experience frameworks. • Experience integrating security, compliance, reliability, and governance into engineering platforms. • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications • Experience building and scaling Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs) and self-service engineering ecosystems. • Experience architecting and implementing AI-enabled engineering solutions and AI-assisted software development capabilities. • Expertise in DevSecOps, SRE, Observability, Cloud Native Architecture, and Engineering Productivity platforms. • Experience leading enterprise-wide modernization and platform transformation initiatives. • Strong understanding of engineering metrics, developer productivity, platform adoption, and operational excellence practices. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. • Drive adoption of AI, automation, and standardized engineering practices at scale.

 Position Overview: We are looking for a self-motivated Senior Software Engineer to join the R&D team responsible for developing new products and improving existing ones. This person is expected to be responsible for well-designed and well tested code, and to apply creative solutions to problems. Responsibilities: • Designs, develops, tests and documents embedded system software for new and existing Insulet products. • Ensures that their design is in compliance with Company policies, and that software activities are appropriate for the design and maintenance of medical products. • Writes and maintains design documentation and testing requirements. • Works with Quality, Regulatory, Marketing and Manufacturing to ensure that designs meet technical, regulatory and manufacturing requirements. • Works closely with other software, software QA, and hardware engineers to integrate, debug, and test systems. • Participate in product design reviews. • Directs and mentors junior engineers as requested. • Perform other duties as required. Education and Experience: • Bachelor's degree in software engineering or equivalent and 10+ years of relevant work experience. Minimum Requirements: • Strong programming skills in C and/or C++ is required. • Hands-on experience with Embedded Systems is required. • Experience on processors like ARM, TI and MSP (or similar Embedded Systems/Microcontrollers) is required. • Familiarity with communication systems and/or wireless protocols. • In-depth Object-oriented programming, as implemented in C, is required. • Good understanding of RTOS and real time systems is required. Preferred Skills and Competencies: • Demonstrated working knowledge of software design. • Experience developing software for embedded microcontrollers. • Knowledge of I2C, SPI, Flash, EEPROM and/or USB preferred. • Familiarity with communication systems and/or wireless protocols will be a plus. • Medical device experience is preferred. • Able to work independently with minimum supervision. • Able to be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a section of a design. • Detail oriented, with effective verbal and written communication skills. • Able to communicate with candor and trust at multiple levels of the organization. • Demonstrated abilities to leverage creativity in order to overcome obstacles and work with a sense of urgency. • Strong software engineering development skills. • Knowledge of OS concepts like dead locks, threading, mutual exclusion, interrupt services is expected. • Good understanding of RTOS and real time systems is a plus. • In-depth Object oriented progr
