Our teams work closely with entrepreneurial leaders to craft go to market strategies and launch new scientific breakthroughs.     We are the strategic advisory arm of EVERSANA, a global life sciences service and operations organization serving large and small biopharma, med tech and digital therapeutics companies. As part of EVERSANA, our teams have access to a unique set of integrated assets, capabilities, and deep subject matter experts.  This allows us to deliver a powerful set of strategic services that are inherently designed to have positive and durable impact for our clients and their patients.    We offer solutions across a range of therapeutic areas — driven by practice areas such as: Brand Strategy/Marketing, Launch/Complete Commercialization, Product Innovation, Corporate Strategy and Business Development, Pricing & Market Access, and Strategic Data Analytics Coordination.  Associates play an important role in researching and developing life science client recommendations as part of project teams. Gaining client exposure from the start, this is a growth focused, early career role for individuals looking to progress their career within the life science consulting sector while applying their analytical skills/ scientific background to develop client recommendations.  Our employees are tasked with delivering excellent business results through the efforts of their teams.  These results are achieved by: Serve as key member of project teams conducting primary and secondary research, performing quantitative & qualitative analysis to generate insights against the client objective.   Support in the structure & development of client deliverables in PowerPoint and/or Excel format including integrating analysis and telling the story in a clear, effective manner.   Attend client meetings and present key elements where applicable.  Collaborate with team members to identify trends, draw conclusions, develop insights and transform those insights into actionable recommendations for the client.  Interview client’s customers, competitors, suppliers, etc. as this work will become the basis of the case team’s strategic recommendations.  Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias.  All other duties as assigned.  Consistent with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and applicable state and local laws, it is the policy of EVERSANA to provide reasonable accommodation when requested by an employee with a disability, unless such accommodation would cause an undue hardship for EVERSANA. If reasonable accommodation is needed to perform the essential functions of your job position, please contact Human Resources.   EXPECTATIONS OF THE JOB:   Travel : Some travel may be required for meeting with clients, stakeholders, or off-site personnel/management  Hours : Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. Overtime and/or weekend/evening hours may be required to meet project deadlines.  The above list reflects the general details necessary to describe the expectations of the position and shall not be construed as the only expectations that may be assigned for the position.   An individual in this position must be able to successfully perform the expectations listed above.    MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:  The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.   Bachelor's degree required (e.g., Public Health, Economics, Business or life science related)  Minimum 1 year of professional experience, preferably focused on life science consulting.   Possess a learning mindset; able to learn quickly and demonstrate a passion for learning.  Strong research & analytical skills, ability to conceptualize analysis into processes and frameworks.  Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint  Ability to multi-task & deliver high quality outputs under time pressured deadlines.  PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:  Education: Advanced degree from a top-tier institution  At least 6 months of experience at a life science consultancy, with experience working on multiple projects and handling associate / analyst-level responsibilities  A strong passion for—and understanding of dynamics and issues in—the pharma and biotech industries   Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills  Strong experience in Excel models and PowerPoint.  PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT:  The physical and mental requirements along with the work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an individual encounters while performing the essential functions of this position.  Office: While performing the essential functions of this job the employee is frequently required to reach, grasp, stand and/or sit for long periods of time (up to 90% of the shift), walk, talk and hear; occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
