Labcorp is seeking a Quality and Compliance Intern to join our IT Quality and Compliance Team located in Madison, Wisconsin, with the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule! Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 40hrs per week Job Responsibilities: The IT Quality and Compliance intern is primarily accountable for computer systems validation (CSV) activities at the site they reside. This position will provide guidance for IT System Periodic Review initiatives for the local Drug Development Labs business units within the site. Will liaise with IT Project Managers, Business unit resources and business unit leadership to execute project-specific IT Review strategy. Coordinate and guide computer system validation activities. Ensure that the IT systems continue to comply with our industry regulations. Minimum Qualifications: Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, Bioinformatics, Biomedical Engineering or Pharmaceutical Science Additional Job Standards: Interest in IT compliance, Life sciences and drug development. Interest in software quality, compliance, validation, risk management, or regulated systems Demonstrate strong attention to detail and willingness to follow strict regulations and guidance Eagerness to learn compliance and regulatory concepts Show initiative and the ability to work independently under general supervision Have a genuine interest in Life science in addition to IT Maintains professionalism, including punctuality and appropriate conduct Strong communication skills; both written and verbal Actively participates in training sessions and applies newly learned skills accordingly Join Labcorp’s 2027 Global Internship Program and take the first step toward a meaningful career in healthcare innovation! Internship 2027 Dates: May 24, 2027-August 13, 2027 About the Team: The IT Quality & Compliance team partners with BioPharma Laboratory Services to ensure the computerized systems supporting laboratory operations are validated, compliant, and maintained in accordance with global regulatory requirements. By working closely with laboratory, quality, and IT teams, we help safeguard data integrity, patient safety, and product quality, ensuring the technology underpinning critical scientific data is reliable, fit for purpose, and inspection-ready throughout its system lifecycle.
