Click here to learn more about our Pelvic Health Products The Senior Strategic Accounts Director is responsible for leading strategic program development and execution for Pelvic Health Sales, with a focus on driving ASC strategy, strategic contracting, robotics growth, and enterprise account alignment. The role will manage increased scope and complexity in a highly matrixed organization, partnering closely with the Medtronic Global Commercial Office and Enterprise Accounts Team, cross-functional business leaders, and key stakeholders to strengthen sales capability, ensure the organization is equipped with the tools, content, financial insight, and structure needed to drive business performance. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative senior people leader with deep financial acumen, strong executive presence, and the ability to lead director-level capabilities including the Pelvic Health portfolio account strategy, complex deal orchestration, executive relationship management, sales enablement for districts, pipeline and opportunity oversight, and program development and activation. This role may be based anywhere in the United States, with the expectation that the individual be able to travel easily as needed to support the business. Primary Responsibilities: Align Enterprise Accounts and Pelvic Health Operating Unit priorities with organizational strategy Lead ASC strategy, strategic contracting, and robotics-focused initiatives and execution in partnership with Enterprise Accounts and the Global Commercial Office Lead strategic direction for house accounts and large national LUGPAs, ensuring clear ownership, coordination, and execution across Pelvic Health Strategic Accounts team and Medtronic internal teams Serve as a people leader for the Pelvic Health Regional Strategic Accounts leaders, providing direction, coaching, performance leadership, and alignment to strategic account priorities Lead Pelvic Health portfolio account strategy by translating business priorities, customer needs, market dynamics, and financial objectives into clear strategic account plans Orchestrate complex deals across matrixed stakeholders, including Strategic Accounts, Enterprise Accounts, district leadership, contracting, finance, and executive decision-makers Own executive relationship management for priority accounts, ensuring consistent engagement, clear value articulation, and alignment with senior internal and external stakeholders Drive sales enablement for districts by developing scalable tools, messaging, playbooks, and activation plans that strengthen strategic account execution Provide pipeline and opportunity oversight to improve visibility, prioritize high-value opportunities, remove barriers, and support disciplined execution across the account portfolio Lead program development and activation by building, launching, and scaling strategic initiatives that support Pelvic Health growth priorities and measurable business outcomes Apply deep financial acumen to support margin strategy, capital expense considerations, account targeting, outpatient market planning, and broader financial planning activities Partner with business leaders, HR, and functional stakeholders to align sales priorities with organizational needs Collaborate with internal partners to shape content, structure, and delivery methods for training and development programs Assess current sales efforts and recommend improvements to strengthen impact and scalability Support communication and alignment across key stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of program plans Help establish and monitor success measures for sales initiatives and use data to guide decisions Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 15 years of relevant sales experience or Advanced degree with a minimum of 13 years of relevant sales experience 10+ years of managerial experience Experience with IDNs Demonstrated experience leading large-scale programs or strategic initiatives in a cross-functional environment Demonstrated ability to manage increased scope and complexity within a highly matrixed organization Deep experience working with senior internal and external customers, including demonstrated relationship management capability with executive-level stakeholders Travel 50% Valid driver’s license and active vehicle insurance policy Preferred Qualifications Experience in healthcare, medtech, or similar scope/ matrixed company Background working with field-based commercial teams or distributed business groups Experience leading change initiatives or building new programs from the ground up Strong analytical mindset with the ability to use data to inform recommendations Broad financial acumen, including experience with margin strategy, capital expense planning, account targeting, outpatient business models, and financial planning For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
