Position Summary As Franchise Lead, Oncology, you will be responsible for shaping and leading the cross-functional Oncology Franchise strategy. GSK Switzerland is seeking a highly strategic and experienced leader to drive the continued growth and success of our Oncology business. Leading a high-performing Commercial team and partnering closely with Medical Affairs and cross-functional stakeholders, you will drive the successful execution of franchise strategies, deliver impactful launches, and accelerate growth across our innovative oncology portfolio. You will hold overall leadership and accountability for both the Marketing and Sales functions and play a pivotal role in delivering business results while fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, innovation, and patient focus. The ideal candidate combines a strong scientific background with extensive experience in Oncology Marketing and Sales, proven people leadership capabilities, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in a complex and evolving environment In this role you will Provide strategic leadership to the cross-functional Oncology Franchise team, with a focus on gynaecological oncology, ensuring successful launches, accelerating growth, and delivering topline financial targets. Own end-to-end launch planning and execution of oncology products and new indications, ensuring seamless alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements. Orchestrate market analysis to identify emerging trends, growth opportunities, and competitive threats, enabling informed strategic decision-making. Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team while fostering a collaborative, inclusive and accountable culture. Provide leadership across Brand Marketing and Key Account Management teams to deliver commercial excellence and franchise growth. Drive long-term business planning, financial forecasting and resource allocation to support sustainable growth and portfolio success. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, scientific societies, cooperative groups and global partners. Monitor franchise performance and implement actions to maximise impact, growth and patient reach. Why You? Basic Qualifications & Skills We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, Business, or related field. Significant commercial experience within the pharmaceutical industry, including relevant Oncology exposure. Proven people leadership experience across coaching, performance management, and talent development. Experience leading oncology brands, franchises, launches or commercial business units. Entrepreneurial and analytical leader with strong commercial acumen and scientific credibility, able to translate complex data into actionable strategies, prioritise effectively, and deliver growth in fast-paced, matrix organisations. Excellent stakeholder management, with experience engaging internal and external experts and stakeholders. Fluent in English and German. Preferred Qualifications & Skills Please note the following skills are not necessary, just preferred. If you do not have them, please still apply: PhD, MD or other advanced scientific qualification. Expertise in gynaecological oncology. Previous Franchise Lead, Launch Lead or equivalent senior oncology leadership experience. Strong familiarity with the Swiss healthcare environment, reimbursement and access pathways. Experience translating global or regional commercial strategy into local country plans.
