Job Overview The Manager, Data Contracting Support is responsible for leading operational support and lifecycle management activities that enable effective and compliant data contracting by the business with vendors, customers , research organizations and st rategic partners . This role plays a key part in ensuring consistent data contract terms to support the compliant use of data related to company medical devices, services, software , employees and cust omers and to advance patient care through the proper collection, maintenance and use of data. The position partners closely with Legal, IT , I SRM, R&D , HEMA and Commercial teams to implement standardized contract terms for the treatment of p rotected data. Key Responsibilities Lead data contracting support activities, ensuring consistent use of templates and standard t erms across the company . Working with the Chief Privacy Officer and Director, Privacy Policies, adjust co ntract temp lates and standard data terms to address changes to privacy and data protection laws. Advise business partner s on negotiations of d ata contract s. Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree required , preferably in Business Administration, Data Sciences, Public Policy, Information Systems, Legal Studies or related field. Experience and Skills Required Typically requires at least 5 years of relevant experience in contracting support, data management, privacy, compliance, paralegal support , or related roles. Demonstrated experience reviewing, drafting , advising on or managing contract s . Facility with document management or contracting software applications. Experience with privacy or data protection laws , including by way of example, HIPAA, GDPR, U.S. state and federal law s for the protection of financial, personal or patient data.
