Data Analytics Analyst (Healthcare/Pharma Analytics) Experience: 2-5 Years Location: Bangalore / Gurgaon Work Mode: Hybrid Position Purpose Work as an individual contributor in delivering commercial analytics and business insights projects for pharmaceutical and healthcare clients. The role will focus on market assessment, forecasting, go-to-market strategy, competitive intelligence, resource optimization, segmentation and targeting, customer analytics, and brand performance analytics. The individual will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external clients to understand business problems, gather requirements, and translate data-driven insights into strategic recommendations that support commercial decision-making. Support pharmaceutical and healthcare clients in solving complex business problems through analytics-driven insights. Partner with business stakeholders to understand objectives, gather requirements, and develop actionable recommendations. Lead and execute projects involving promotional effectiveness, ROI analysis, sales force effectiveness, pricing optimization, physician/patient profiling, and commercial strategy. Conduct primary and secondary market research to support strategic business decisions. Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and commercial opportunities. Communicate findings and recommendations through impactful presentations and reports. Ensure timely project delivery and maintain high-quality documentation. Drive continuous improvement and delivery excellence across projects. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders. Education & Experience Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Econometrics, Statistics, Operations Research, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, or MBA with relevant experience. 3+ years of experience in Analytics, Commercial Analytics, Market Research, Forecasting, Consulting, or Healthcare/Pharma Analytics. Prior experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, life sciences, or consulting organizations is preferred. Preferred Background Candidates with experience in: Pharmaceutical and healthcare consulting Market assessment and commercial strategy projects Forecasting and competitive intelligence Go-to-market planning Sales force effectiveness analytics Business insights and strategic recommendations Client-facing analytics and stakeholder management Good to Have Familiarity with pharmaceutical industry concepts, terminology, and market dynamics. Experience in automating analytics solutions using Python or R. Exposure to machine learning model deployment. Participation in analytics competitions such as Kaggle. Self-driven, flexible, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
