We have an opportunity for the Technician Quality role based in the Des Plaines, IL location. Shift Monday to Friday 7:00am-3:30pm What You’ll Work On Support audits, regulatory inspections, and global quality compliance requirements. Perform Quality Control testing, review test data, troubleshoot instrumentation, and disposition test results for molecular diagnostic assays and manufactured parts. Ensure consistent delivery of high‑quality documentation, products, and processes. Disposition incoming and manufactured materials and manage materials segregation activities. Generate, review, and approve Certificates of Assurance. Document and evaluate exceptions, nonconformances, and CAPA, including product and risk impact assessments. Provide compliant solutions to moderately complex problems and escalate issues as needed. Contribute to team goals and lead limited‑scope initiatives with management oversight. Demonstrate core competencies and maintain certification in at least one relevant technology or test process. Required Qualifications High School Diploma/GED with a certificate in a relevant science area is also acceptable. 2 years of related work experience. Preferred Qualifications Experience in the healthcare industry, preferably within a quality or laboratory function. Strong understanding of how individual responsibilities support broader business and quality objectives. Demonstrated proficiency in core and technical competencies. Hands-on experience with laboratory techniques, including wet chemistry, pipetting, and qualitative and quantitative transfers. Working knowledge of operational and quality systems. Highly desirable experience with molecular biology techniques (e.g., PCR, FISH). Experience performing Out of Specification (OOS) investigations. Background in MQA, nonconformance management, and/or CAPA activities. * Participants who complete a short wellness assessment qualify for FREE coverage in our HIP PPO medical plan.
