Accounts Payable Specialist

Tempus is looking for a hardworking, ambitious Accounts Payable Specialist to support its growing operations in Chicago. Reporting to the AP Manager, this role will oversee the accounts payable process. What you'll do : Sort, code and match invoices Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries Assist with month-end closing (Duplicate invoices, overbilled PO's, verifying service periods for a subsection of vendor types, etc.) Provide supporting documentation for audits (when needed) Track Credits and resolve any associated issues Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and at least 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a rapidly-growing company Highly analytical and detail-oriented Results-oriented, highly energetic, dynamic individual with hands-on mentality #LI-DA1 CHI: $50,000-$72,000 The expected salary range may vary for other locations. Actual salary may vary based on qualifications and experience.
