Pay Range: $89,300.00 - $146,900.00 Position Summary We are seeking a Scientific Marketing Manager to drive scientific credibility, customer adoption, and market growth through the generation and dissemination of application-focused scientific evidence. This role partners closely with Product Marketing, Product Management, R&D, Applications, and external scientific collaborators to define and execute a data generation roadmap that supports product positioning, customer education, scientific communications, and commercial objectives. The Scientific Marketing Manager will lead the development of scientific content, support conference and publication activities, cultivate key opinion leader (KOL) advocacy, and manage scientific resources that enable successful adoption and growth of the company's spatial biology portfolio. This position is integrated within the Marketing organization and reports to the Head of Marketing. Key Responsibilities Define and execute an application-focused scientific data generation roadmap for driving applications-focused commercial strategy in collaboration with R&D, Applications, Product Management, and Product Marketing teams. Partner with R&D Applications and Data Generation teams to generate datasets that support product adoption, scientific communications, commercialization initiatives, and customer needs. Develop and manage scientific content including white papers, application notes, technical notes, scientific briefs, case studies, and educational materials. Support the development and submission of scientific abstracts, posters, presentations, publications, and other scientific communications. Establish and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, collaborators, and scientific partners to drive advocacy and expand market awareness. Coordinate scientific evidence and content to support marketing campaigns, product launches, customer engagement activities, and sales enablement programs. Build, curate, and maintain scientific resources including imaging libraries, marker libraries, publication repositories, and application-focused reference materials. Serve as a scientific liaison across Marketing, Product Management, R&D, Applications, Commercial teams, and external collaborators to ensure alignment on priorities and deliverables. Represent the company at scientific conferences, workshops, webinars, advisory boards, and customer-facing events. Monitor the impact and utilization of scientific content and evidence to support portfolio growth and customer adoption. Qualifications and Requirements Advanced scientific training in a relevant life sciences discipline (Neuroscience, Oncology, Immunology or Pathology) is required . A Master's degree or PhD is preferred; however, candidates with equivalent experience gained through scientific marketing, applications, product management, translational research, or related roles will also be considered. Experience working in translational research, scientific marketing, field applications, or product management environments. Experience with spatial biology, molecular profiling, transcriptomics, proteomics, imaging, or related research technologies. Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional initiatives without direct authority. Experience developing scientific and technical content for research, commercial, or educational audiences. Experience managing cross-functional projects involving scientific and commercial stakeholders. Experience developing scientific evidence-generation strategies or application-focused datasets. Experience engaging with external scientific collaborators and key opinion leaders. Experience supporting scientific publications, abstracts, posters, and conference presentations. Knowledge, Skill and abilities: Strong project management, prioritization, and organizational skills. Ability to build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders and external scientific experts. Effective verbal and written communication skills with both scientific and commercial audiences. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Self-motivated, collaborative, and results-oriented approach. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong scientific writing, presentation, and communication skills. Ability to translate complex scientific concepts into clear, customer-focused messaging. Working Conditions: Hybrid or office-based work environment with occasional laboratory, conference, or customer-site exposure. Frequent collaboration with global cross-functional teams across different time zones. Travel required up to 20% for conferences, customer meetings, training programs, and scientific events.
