Job Description About the role: Responsible for achieving sales, market share and business objectives for Takeda’s Plasma-Derived Therapies and Rare Diseases portfolio within designated territories and accounts. Responsible for maximizing appropriate utilization, customer value and patient outcomes of the Takeda PDT and Rare Diseases offering within designated territories/accounts, always within compliance, legal and promotional boundaries. Lead and develop strategic account relationships with HCPs, hospital pharmacies, procurement stakeholders and relevant networks to strengthen Takeda’s competitive position and partnership value. Drive insight-led account planning and measurable execution, translating customer, patient, market, CRM and competitor insights into clear priorities, actions and follow-up. Support HAE, immunology and broader PDT patient journeys by working cross-functionally with Medical, Market Access, Customer Excellence and other internal partners to address customer needs and system barriers. Independently identify, develop and lead customer, account and business improvement initiatives from concept through implementation and outcome measurement, creating value for patients, customers and Takeda. Position Takeda as a trusted, value-creating partner through tailored solutions, digital and personal engagement, and disciplined execution How you will contribute: Key Account Management and Account Planning Understand the account situation, decision-making dynamics, customer needs, patient-flow opportunities and access barriers; formulate comprehensive, robust and insight-driven key account plans. Plan account activities data-based, define clear objectives and KPIs, keep plans transparent to the account team and senior leaders, and adapt activities continuously as new insights emerge. Deliver agreed objectives and tactics within timelines and budget, prioritizing activities with the highest customer, patient and business impact. Maintain market surveillance and communicate in-field insights quickly and clearly to commercial, medical, market access and customer excellence stakeholders. Operate in line with compliance and legal requirements and according to approved marketing and sales strategies. Act as an ambassador of the Takeda brand, its vision and values. Commercial strategy, Hospital Pharmacy and Tender/Procurement Engagement Coordinate BU strategy and tactical plans with multifunctional partners to serve key hospitals, hospital pharmacies, procurement stakeholders and hospital buying groups. Build and execute strategic plans for major hospital groups and buying groups, including public and private institutions, with clearly defined account priorities and measurable outcomes. Support preparation and coordination of responses for tender requests and procurement processes for the relevant Takeda portfolio, in close alignment with internal experts. Gather procurement, tender and competitor intelligence and update account plans accordingly. Develop and maintain high quality relationships with customers through specific services and solutions that create mutual value. Position Takeda as a partner of choice in the hospital sector through quality relationships, solution orientation and reliable execution. Stakeholder Engagement Develop long-term relationships between Takeda, key strategic accounts and their stakeholders. Identify key external stakeholders, understand their needs deeply and co-create mutually beneficial solutions that add value to HCPs, patients and Takeda. Personalize interactions across channels and ensure every customer interaction is relevant, empathetic and impactful. Use digital tools and automation to improve the quality, consistency and timeliness of follow-ups after customer interactions. Support and advise healthcare professionals on the correct use of Takeda products and ser-vices portfolio within the approved label and materials. Cross-Functional Team Leadership Proactively coordinate collaboration with Medical, Market Access, Marketing, Customer Excellence and other internal stakeholders to ensure aligned objectives and activities for accounts and external stakeholders. Lead core account-team meetings, present account plans and progress at relevant local meetings, and hold self and collaborators accountable for agreed actions. Share learnings, insights and best practices internally to strengthen LOC development, peer learning and the effectiveness of the KAM team. Create clarity on next steps, owners and timelines after decisions, ensuring disciplined follow-through. Operational Excellence and Data-Driven Execution Prioritize and manage accounts within assigned territory by assessing opportunities through contacts with key decision-makers and relevant local stakeholders. Use sales, CRM, engagement metrics, market developments and competitor insights to identify opportunities and risks, propose mitigating actions and improve planning and execution. Ensure data-based decisions create measurable value by defining KPIs, documenting decisions and next steps, and tracking progress consistently. Use digital assets and approved tools to strengthen customer engagement, operational efficiency and future readiness. Stay curious, learn continuously and translate new knowledge into concrete actions that im-prove execution and outcomes.
