Purpose Working closely with the Korea Education Manager, the Sr. Clinical Trainer / Clinical Trainer will support commercial education and capability development initiatives across the Electrophysiology (EP) organization. The primary focus of this role is to support onboarding and training programs for new employees while also contributing to the ongoing education and professional development of internal EP team members. This role delivers clinical and product education that enables employees to understand the complexity of Electrophysiology, strengthen their knowledge of cardiac arrhythmia mapping fundamentals, and develop the clinical competencies necessary to effectively support customers, optimize field performance, and deliver improved patient outcomes. Sr. Clinical Trainer / Clinical Trainer will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure training programs align with business objectives, clinical excellence standards, and organizational learning needs. Key Responsibilities Under limited supervision and in accordance with all applicable company policies, procedures, and compliance standards, this position will: Work closely with the Korea Education Manager to plan, coordinate, and deliver onboarding programs for new EP employees. The role will provide structured foundational and advanced training throughout the new-hire onboarding period. Training will cover cardiac anatomy and physiology, cardiac arrhythmias, electrophysiology fundamentals, mapping principles, procedural workflows, and relevant products and technologies. Facilitate classroom, virtual, practical, and field-based learning activities to build the clinical knowledge and skills required for each role. Assess trainee progress through knowledge checks, practical exercises, observation, and participation. Clear written and verbal feedback will be provided to help new hires strengthen their capabilities and achieve role readiness. Trainee progress, readiness, and development needs will be communicated to the Korea Education Manager, field leadership, and other relevant team members. Additional coaching and learning support will be provided when knowledge or skill gaps are identified. Beyond onboarding, the role will support ongoing internal training and capability development for EP employees across South Korea. Partner with Education team members and business partners to deliver field training, clinical competency programs, and continuous learning initiatives. The role will contribute to training for new product introductions and other business priorities by preparing and facilitating relevant learning content. Field visits may be conducted to reinforce learning, provide practical coaching, and understand local educational needs. Help maintain and improve Foundation and Advanced curricula, training materials, and learning resources. Training effectiveness will be evaluated through learner feedback, assessments, field observations, and performance data. Insights from these evaluations will be used to improve program quality, relevance, and learner engagement. The role will collaborate across functions to ensure training plans align with business objectives and organizational learning needs. All training activities will be conducted in accordance with Johnson & Johnson Health Care Compliance standards, company policies, and applicable health, safety, and environmental requirements. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required. Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the medical device, healthcare, life sciences, or related industry. Clinical experience or strong knowledge of cardiovascular disease states and Electrophysiology. Understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, cardiac arrhythmias, and electrophysiology procedures. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Korean and English. Strong presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to engage and influence learners in both classroom and field-based environments. Strong organizational and project management skills. Ability to work effectively across multiple functions and teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and Outlook. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in Electrophysiology or cardiac mapping technologies. Previous experience in training, coaching, mentoring, or adult learning environments. Experience supporting onboarding and new hire development programs. Experience in curriculum development and learning content creation. Experience supporting new product launches and clinical education initiatives. Knowledge of blended learning methodologies and digital learning platforms. Working Conditions Hybrid work environment consisting of: Home-based work / Office-based work Field-based activities and customer-facing engagements Domestic travel may be required to support field training, educational programs, and business initiative
