Position summary: The Head of Nature and Partnerships is accountable for defining and leading GSK’s enterprise-wide nature strategy, embedding nature, biodiversity and ecosystem considerations into business decision-making, risk management and sustainability commitments. The role provides strategic leadership across the Nature & Partnerships portfolio, translating science-based targets, regulatory and stakeholder expectations, and partnership programmes into measurable outcomes that support nature, climate interdependencies and long-term value for GSK, patients and society. These responsibilities include some of the following: Lead GSK’s global Nature strategy, setting the vision, objectives and roadmap in line with sustainability, climate and ESG priorities Oversee a portfolio of Nature initiatives across key business areas, ensuring clear priorities, KPIs, governance and business ownership Lead the Nature & Partnerships team, building capability through coaching, line leadership and succession planning Partner with Supply Chain, R&D, Procurement, Real Estate, EHS and Finance to embed nature considerations into strategy, risk, investment and operational decisions Build external partnerships that support strategy delivery, strengthen credibility and extend GSK’s influence Support Nature-related governance, enabling effective decisions and clear reporting into executive forums Track external policy, regulatory, standards and investor expectations on Nature, ensuring GSK is prepared and well-positioned Represent GSK’s Nature agenda internally and externally, shaping senior stakeholder engagement, communications and ESG disclosures Drive continuous improvement and innovation in Nature approaches, scaling solutions where they demonstrate business and sustainability value Breadth / Scope of Accountability Global enterprise role covering Nature strategy and delivery across GSK’s key regions and business units Line leadership of the Nature & Partnerships team, including senior leads, managers and analysts as defined by the organisation design Accountable for Nature programme budgets and for influencing related investment decisions across sustainability, climate and business priorities Significant impact on GSK’s reputation, responsible business performance, readiness for emerging Nature requirements and long-term operational and supply chain resilience Educational Background Minimum level of education: Bachelor’s degree in business, management, sustainability, public policy, science, healthcare, or a related discipline Preferred level of education: Advanced degree or equivalent experience in business administration, strategy, sustainability, public policy, healthcare, or a related field Job-Related Experience Extensive experience (typically 10+ years) in business leadership, strategy, sustainability, ESG, risk, operations or related fields, including leadership of cross-functional teams and enterprise programmes Track record shaping and delivering enterprise strategies in a complex global organisation, ideally with strong knowledge of GSK’s business model, governance and stakeholder expectations Proven ability to influence senior leaders, secure alignment and integrate sustainability considerations into commercial and operational decisions Experience building trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders, using partnerships and networks to advance business objectives, strengthen reputation and support credible delivery Other Job-Related Skills / Background Strong people leadership skills, including coaching, talent development and capability building Excellent communication and influencing skills, with confidence engaging senior executives and external audiences Good understanding of ESG, climate and emerging nature expectations, and how they translate into corporate priorities Ability to manage complex programmes, prioritise across workstreams and deliver clear outcomes at pace High integrity, strategic judgement and confidence working with emerging standards and incomplete data *LI-GSK Skills Data Integrity, Digital Fluency, Environmental Policy, Environmental Reports, Environmental Sustainability, Environment Management, GxP Regulations, Influencing Without Authority, Lean Management, Problem Solving, Risk Awareness, Sustainable Development Belgium Salary Range / Fourchette salariale – Belgique: EUR 0 to EUR 0The annual gross base salary range for new hires in this position is listed above for each applicable location. These ranges take into account a number of factors including the candidate’s skills, experience, education level and the market rate for the role. In addition, this position may offer an annual bonus and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program which is dependent on the level of the role.
