The Manager, CMO/CDMO Finance Business Partner supports Finance across Contract Manufacturing and Contract Development & Manufacturing activities, providing financial planning, performance management, cost accounting, contract analysis, and decision support. Working closely with CMO/CDMO leadership and cross-functional partners across External Supply, Planning, Procurement, TechOps, R&D, Accounting and Finance, the role helps translate operational plans and contractual arrangements into clear financial insights and business decisions. Key Responsibilities Support financial planning, forecasting, budgeting and performance management across the CMO/CDMO portfolio, including risks, opportunities and management reporting. Partner with Demand Planning, Supply Planning and Operations to ensure forecasts reflect production volumes, capacity, inventory, tech transfer timelines, launches and lifecycle assumptions. Read and interpret relevant commercial and manufacturing agreements, translating key contractual terms into financial implications, risks and required actions. Maintain visibility over pricing mechanisms, supplier commitments, milestones, payment terms, claims, settlements, accruals and true-ups. Support virtual plant and external manufacturing cost accounting, including standard costing, inventory valuation, PPV, manufacturing variances and COGS impacts. Analyze external manufacturing cost flows, including inventory ownership, tolling versus buy-sell arrangements, intercompany activity and legal-entity implications. Develop financial models and business cases supporting supplier selection, sourcing decisions, tech transfers, capacity changes, contract modifications and lifecycle transitions. Track and validate savings, cost avoidance, cash flow benefits and value realization from CMO/CDMO initiatives. Partner across CMO/CDMO, External Supply Integration, Procurement, TechOps, R&D, Planning, Accounting, Legal and Finance to provide an integrated Finance perspective. Improve reporting, analytics, controls and processes, increasing transparency, scalability and reducing dependency on manual or individual knowledge. What You Bring Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or related discipline. Relevant experience in Finance Business Partnering, manufacturing finance, supply chain, procurement, cost accounting or related areas. Strong financial analysis, forecasting, modeling and business-case capabilities. Exposure to product costing, inventory, manufacturing economics and external supply strongly preferred. Ability to understand and interpret commercial contracts and supplier agreements from a Finance perspective. Experience working across complex, cross-functional and matrix organizations. Strong Excel skills; familiarity with SAP, planning, reporting or analytics tools preferred.
