A Day in the Life Finance Manager, Vietnam & CML serves as the lead commercial finance partner for our business across Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar and Laos. Working closely with country and commercial leadership, this role will provide forward-looking financial insights, challenge business assumptions and translate analysis into actions that drive sustainable growth, profitability and cash performance. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. Partner with Vietnam & CML (Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos) leadership on business planning, priorities and key financial decisions. Lead Annual Operating Plan ( AOP) , Latest Best Estimate ( LBE ) , forecasting and performance reviews , with clear visibility of risks and opportunities. Provide insights across revenue, pricing, mix, margin, OPEX, operating profit, inventory, working capital and cash flow . Support pricing, tenders, commercial deals, distributor economics, investments and business cases through scenario, ROI and profitability analysis. Partner cross- functionally to drive growth, margin improvement, productivity, inventory optimization and cash generation . Maintain strong financial governance, controls and compliance with Medtronic policies. Leverage data, analytics and digital tools to improve decision-making and drive simplification and automation. Collaborate across Commercial, Supply Chain, Pricing, HR, SEA Finance and other functions, leading through influence and constructive challenges . What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting with 5+ years of relevant finance experience ; or an advanced degree with 3+ years of relevant experience . Strong experience in FP&A, commercial finance, controlling or finance business partnering . Strong financial analysis, modeling, business acumen and stakeholder-management skills. Ability to influence and partner effectively across functions and senior stakeholders. Strong written and verbal English communication skills. Preferred 7+ years of progressive finance experience , ideally in a multinational environment. Experience supporting country, cluster or business-unit leadership with broad P&L responsibilities. Healthcare, M edical D evices , life sciences or other regulated-industry experience. Multi-country, emerging- market and/or distributor business experience. Experience with pricing, tenders, commercial deals and investment evaluation . Proficiency in Excel and experience with SAP, OneStream, Power BI or similar tools . CMA , CIMA, ACCA or equivalent qualification is an advantage. PEOPLE MANAGEMENT FUNCTIONAL CAREER STREAM: Management and supervisory professionals with one or more employees who are focused on tactical, operational and some strategic activities within a specified area. A key responsibility of roles in this career stream is managing people. which includes: accountability for mentoring, developing and coaching staff on meeting/exceeding performance expectations and defined objectives, providing leadership to staff ensuring the prioritization of strategic and department level initiatives to include defining performance goals and targets, conducting performance reviews, and staff 1:1s to guide performance management and employee development efforts and manage toward departmental goals.
