Due to the growth at our site in Visp, we are currently looking for Operations Support and Manufacturing Specialists for our 6 x 20K Large Scale Mammalian Facility. In this role, you will be responsible fo r performing operational support activities within the Operations Support Team in partnership with Buffer Media Supply , USP, and DSP. What you’ll do: Assignment s within the Operations Support team focused on receipt and management of raw materials, single use materials, dispensing of small volume and large-scale medias and buffers to meet production demands and adherence to schedule . P rocessing of parts in washers and autoclaves Transport and storage of materials within temperature-controlled requirements Execution of tasks in compliance with safety regulations and cG MP quality requirements. Execution of production steps including interaction with HMIs and automated systems Key responsibilities: Complete manufacturing activities in Operations Support area according to cGMP guidelines, ensuring batch execution, evaluating test results, resolving issues, troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and make recommendations for resolution Assist document preparation ( e.g. electronic batch records, SOPs) specific to the assigned production area Recognition, interpretation, and elimination of deviations Review production documentation and work on deviations, change requests and implementation of CAPAs to ensure high-quality GMP standards Responsible for the training of the manufacturing staff on specific equipment or standard operations Serve as deputy for Team Lead when needed Key requirements: Fluent English with German language skills advantageous GMP operations experience a must Completed chemical / biopharmaceutical education or vocational training preferred Professional experience in pharmaceutical production as an operator/production technician in a GMP environment is a plus Must be open to work in shift (2 or 3 shift system) What we’r e looking fo r : Motivated, self-starter with a collaborative and team-oriented mindset, ability to work independently , oversee the daily coordination of operational activities, and execute operations as part of team deliverables . Ideally, you have trained as an EFZ logistician / EFZ chemical and pharmaceutical technologist / EFZ laboratory technician specializing in chemistry or biology. Safety mindset; forklift and /or elec tric pall et truck training will be required C ontinuous improvement mindset with attention to detail and support of 6S standard s Day shift schedule to start during training period and establishment of the Operations Support Department.
